If you’re more interested in skiing, head to the Allegan State Game Area, just 25 minutes east of Saugatuck. The quiet, serene setting overlooks parts of the Kalamazoo River Watershed. The area is wooded and mostly flat, making it a great spot for beginners. The area opens for skiing on January 1^st.
