The Hotel Saugatuck Policies

POLICIES & GENERAL INFORMATION

Children: The Hotel Saugatuck an adults-only property. Guests must be 21 years of age or older, and we are unable to accommodate children under any circumstances. This policy ensures a peaceful, romantic atmosphere for all our guests.

Pets: Pets, including emotional support and therapy animals, are not permitted. 

Breakfast & Dessert:
Breakfast and dessert are not included with all rates. Only reservations booked under a rate plan that includes breakfast and dessert will receive these amenities. Guests who do not select an inclusive rate plan will not receive breakfast or dessert during their stay.

Cancellation Policies- Unless you have opted for a rate plan that includes Cancellation Coverage, your reservation is subject to our Standard Cancellation Policy.

  • Standard Cancellation Policy: Cancellations, date changes, or shortened stays made more than 14 days prior to arrival will receive a refund of the deposit, less a $50 cancellation fee. Changes made 14 days or less prior to arrival, including no-shows, are non-refundable and will be charged for the full stay. 
  • Cancellation Coverage Policy: By selecting Cancellation Coverage, an additional $35 per night is added to your rate. This allows you to cancel your reservation up to 12:00 PM EST the day before arrival and receive a refund of your deposit, less the $35 per night fee. Cancellation Coverage must be purchased at the time of booking.

Smoking Policy
In accordance with Michigan State Law, The Hotel Saugatuck is a non-smoking property. A $500 per day fee will apply for smoking anywhere outside designated smoking areas.

Rates & Occupancy

  • Rates are based on double occupancy and are subject to change without notice. 
  • Each room has a maximum occupancy of two adult guests. 

Taxes
All reservations are subject to 6% State Sales Tax and 5% County Tax.

Deposits
A deposit equal to one night’s stay is required to confirm all reservations.

Payment
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and cash.
