Do you allow children?
No, we are a 21+ property.

Do you allow pets?
We are not pet-friendly.

Do you always have a two-night minimum?
June - October we typically have a two-night minimum for weekdays and weekends.
November - May we typically only have a two-night minimum on weekends.
*We encourage guests to give us a call directly. We may have exceptions to this rule. 

Do you have a waitlist?
Yes. Please give us a call directly or email us at innkeeper@thehotelsaugatuck.com with your name, desired dates and preferred room. 

Do you host weddings or do room blocks for wedding parties?
No, we do not. 

What is the difference between Cottages and Hotel Rooms?
Cottages are separate from the main hotel but still have all of the same amenities. Cottages feature an outdoor deck with chairs. Cottages are typically more quiet than rooms in the main hotel because you share a wall with only one room.
Hotel Rooms are located inside the main hotel and have all of the same amenities as the cottages. Hotel rooms do not have outdoor decks. 

Is parking available at the Hotel?
Yes. We have a large parking lot with enough space for all of our guests. 

How far is The Hotel Saugatuck from downtown Saugatuck?
We are an easy 10-minute walk or 3-minute drive from the hustle and bustle of downtown. If you plan to stay with us during the summer months, we strongly recommend parking your car at the hotel and walking downtown as parking can be a challenge.

Do you allow early check-in?
The earliest arrival time we can offer is 2 pm. While we do our best to accommodate early check-in when requested, we cannot guarantee it will be available.

Do you allow late check-out?
The latest check-out time we can offer is noon. While we do our best to accommodate late check-out when requested, we cannot guarantee it will be available.

We plan to arrive early, can we park in your parking lot while we wait for our room?
We encourage our guests to use our parking lot when they arrive ahead of schedule.

We have checked out, can we leave our car in the parking lot while we go into town?
We are not able to accommodate post-check-out parking. 

I can’t arrive until after 7 pm. Is that okay/What should I do?
This is completely okay! Just send us a quick text to let us know you won’t arrive until after 7. We will set up your room and provide you with the necessary information.

Why aren’t children allowed?
We cater primarily to couples looking for a romantic retreat to celebrate or reconnect. As this is our primary goal, our rooms are designed with couples in mind and are not suitable for children.

Do any of your rooms have two queen beds?
No, we only offer king-sized beds, each room has a maximum of 2-person occupancy.

Do you have meeting/office space?
No, we do not offer a meeting/office space at this time. 

Do you offer any on-site spa/massage options?
No, we do not offer spa packages or massages on-site.
